When I told people I was visiting Marseille I got a lot of mixed reviews. Someone told me I would love it and it was even more beautiful than Paris!...and then someone else told me it was a dirty city overrun by immigrants (which in their opinion was a bad thing)...So, I had no idea what to expect when I arrived at the train station. Luckily we were staying with our amazing friend Charlotte who showed us how incredible Marseille really is! What I discovered about Marseille is that it is a lively city filled with art, music, cafés, beautiful landscape, multicultural neighborhoods, delicious food.... and the best part about this city is the amazing people that inhabit it!
